This Friday we will celebrate Friendship in our class. Everyone has qualities that we admire. I would like the students to write to each child in the class and tell them one thing that they like about them. If you need more hearts, I have attached a copy of the letter that has been sent home.
Please do not send Valentine's Day cards until Friday February 12th, when we will celebrate our Friendship as a class.

As an ECO-school we are collecting old batteries. The more batteries we can stop from going into the landfill the better. Please send in any and all old batteries with your child. A grade 5 student will be coming around on a weekly basis to collect them. Alternatively, there is a grey recycling container in the front foyer of the school that you are able to disguard your old batteries in.
Thanks for helping UPS achieve our goal of being an ECO friendly school.
Welcome to Grade 1!
This website has been designed to help both parents keep up-to-date and informed about everyday life in Mrs. Goldman's class and at UPS. There is a section for both Language and Math where you can take a look at our current units. There is also a page containing useful websites that you can explore with your child. I will also be posting homework activities on the homework page so you can stay up to date even when absent from school. This site is a work in progress, I thank you for your patience.
